The SAPPA Conference in May
will be the premier event on the SAPPA calendar for
2013. It has been three years since SAPPA held a
conference just for primary leaders in South
Australia. Going to Wirrina for a residential
conference will be viewed by many SAPPA members as
returning ‘home’.
This year’s theme: ‘Connected Leadership’
will provide leaders with the opportunity to connect
in numerous ways. The opportunity to connect with
colleagues and form new networks has always been a
strength of previous primary conferences. A range of
internationally and nationally recognised speakers
will support leaders to consider how they can
connect with teachers, students and school
communities in new and innovative ways.
I encourage all SAPPA members to register for this
special event. This year, for the first time, there
is a financial incentive for members who have not
previously been to a SAPPA Conference to attend. I
am hopeful this will encourage many new faces and
leadership teams to join us for the conference.
